How to Respond to God's Getting Our Attention at Sinai (Family Worship lesson in Exodus 20:1–2)

How should Israel have responded to God’s getting their attention at Sinai? Pastor leads his family in today’s “Hopewell @Home” passage. Exodus 20:1–2 looks forward to the evening sermon on the coming Lord’s Day. In this verse of Holy Scripture, the Holy Spirit teaches us that God was teaching Israel (and us) to heed His Word, to honor His servants, to worship His Name, to embrace our covenant relation to Him, to persist in repenting, and to depend upon Him for that repenting.(click here to DOWNLOAD mp3/pdf files of this lesson)
