A Glorious Foundation (Family Worship lesson in 1Kings 5)

What are we to make of these extensive preparations? Pastor leads his family in today’s “Hopewell @Home” passage. 1Kings 5 prepares us for the first serial reading in morning public worship on the coming Lord’s Day. In these eighteen verses, the Holy Spirit teaches us that the Lord kept His promise to Solomon to give him wisdom, but especially His promise to David to give him a king-son who would build the temple.
